Vetekatten, Kungsgatan 55. A classic, a must to be visited. They have a bakery, pastry shop, chocolate manufacturing and cold buffet dishes. An "out-of-the ordinary" café. Sitting in the back garden in summer is lovely.

Grillska Huset, Stortorget. Run by the City Mission. As nice inside as outside with good food. Or buy a bun to take with you on a picnic. The have good lunches too. 200 meters from Castanea.

Café Mineur, Stora Nygatan 31. Especially nice to creep down in this basement café in winter. Good also for lunch. Organic! 300 meters from Castanea.
